Bavette with butter dish served

Prep time: 15 to 20 minutes. Cook time: Dependant on steak and how it is required. Servings:  1 portion


  • 1 x 200g Bavette Steak
  • 250g Salted butter
  • 30ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 10g Banana shallots
  • 8g Thyme
  • 20g Parsley flat
  • 3g Tarragon
  • 40g Dijon mustard
  • 20g Anchovy fillets in oil
  • 6g Sea salt
  • 1g Whole black peppercorn
  • 30g Baby capers
  • 1x Lemon
  • 10g Smoked paprika
  • 10g Mild madras curry powder


1. Remove the steak from packaging and allow to breath.
2. Pan cook until desired liking.
3. Soften the butter then add the ingrdients in a blender until combined.
4. Slice the steak and top with butter
5. Serve with fries tumbled through salt, chopped rosemary and thyme.
